How Sage publishes
Editorial methodology
Sage translates evidence and established relationship-education frameworks into small actions without overstating certainty.

Question selection
We prioritize common, specific questions where a concise educational answer can help a reader choose a constructive next step. Topic coverage includes communication, conflict repair, emotional connection, relationship rituals, and major life stages.
We avoid diagnosing a person or partner from a short description and do not publish content designed to manipulate, monitor, or control someone.
Evidence and interpretation
Editors review credible sources, identify the claim each source can support, and note where advice is a practical interpretation rather than a tested clinical intervention.
A guide is written for a general audience. Individual circumstances, culture, disability, identity, safety, and access to care may change what is appropriate.
Review and revision
Each guide receives editorial and non-clinical safety review before publication. Public metadata includes a stable canonical URL, category, author, reviewer, sources, publication date, update date, and revision number.
Feeds and the AI-readable index include only canonical published pages. Drafts, account pages, private links, and internal app content are excluded.
